On February 4, 2025, the College of Languages & Translation (CLT) proudly congratulated a team of master’s students in translation for securing sixth place in the Tourism Track of the “Tahadi La Aseer” hackathon, organized by the Aseer Region Development Authority. The event took place at 6:30 p.m. in the Cultural Center in Muhayil, Aseer.

In recognition of the pivotal role of student activities in enhancing students’ skills and creativity, as well as fostering a positive competitive spirit, the College of Languages and Translation Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs (Women’s Section), organized the creative program “Languages and Talents” on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the college’s Student Club.

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the Language Enhancement Unit of the College of Languages & Translation (CLT) continued its "Come Learn French" series, which began two weeks earlier. Moving forward, the workshop will be held every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Room A-3-59 at the CLT.

In an effort to enhance the language skills of our female students, broaden their cultural horizons, and encourage them to learn new languages, the Languages and Translation College Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Women, organized a program titled “Language Treasures: English and Chinese” on Sunday, February 16, 2025. The event was held at the college theater from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The Alumni Association Unit at the College of Languages and Translation in Quraiger, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Center, organized a workshop titled "Navigating the Job Market: Boosting Your Self-Confidence."

The session was led by Dr. Bushra Al-Qurashi, Assistant Professor at the College of Languages and Translation, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Code Lab, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

In an effort to underscore the significance of sports in enhancing both physical and mental health, fostering sportsmanship, and creating a spirit of positive competition, the Languages and Translation College Club, in partnership with the Computer Science College Club and in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the program "Sports: Challenges and Passion." This event took place on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Elite Hall in the Female Students Complex at Quraiger.

The Alumni Association Unit at the College of Languages and Translation in Quraiger, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Center, organized a workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence in Education: Insights and Innovations.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Aisha Sagheer Khan, Assistant Professor at the College of Languages and Translation in Quraiger, on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Code Lab, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
