The Alumni Association Unit at the College of Languages and Translation in Quraiger, in collaboration with the Department of Economics at the College of Business, organized a training program titled “How to Pass Job Tests.” The program was presented online by Dr. Maha Fadl Al-Sayed Ali Abdullah, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, College of Business in Quraiger, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

The Alumni Association Unit at the College of Languages and Translation in Quraiger organized a training course titled “Translation and Its Available Career Opportunities After Graduation.” The course was presented by Dr. Magda Babiker Ahmed, Assistant Professor at the College of Languages and Translation in Quraiger, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the college auditorium from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

In a significant step towards fostering academic collaboration and promoting translation studies, the College of Languages and Translation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Arabian Translation Association. The agreement aims to enhance efforts in translation, cultural exchange, and academic research in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

English literature is one of the facets of global literature that reflects the cultures, history, and societies from which it originated, serving as an important reference for readers and intellectuals worldwide. In this context, the College of Languages and Translation Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized a program titled “English Literature Masterpieces” on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the club’s venue within the college.

In line with the College of Languages and Translation Club’s commitment to promoting an interest in foreign languages and encouraging female students to learn new languages, an interactive workshop titled “Introduction to the French Language” was organized in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students. The workshop aimed to offer a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of the French language and its culture.

Cultural fairs and books serve as ideal platforms for encouraging reading and reinforcing this concept among students. In this context, the College of Languages and Translation Club participated alongside the Central Pages Club and, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, in the "Book Fair" held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Central Library in Al-Far'aa. The program commenced promptly at 10:00 a.m. and witnessed remarkable attendance and active engagement from both male and female students, as well as various visitors.

On January 29, 2025, the Alumni Unit of the College of Languages & Translation (CLT) organized an insightful workshop entitled “From Theory to Practice: Strategies for Solving the Jahiziyah Applied Linguistics Exam” designed for Level 7 and 8 students. The workshop was held on Wednesday at 12:00 pm in Room 65 on the ground floor of the CLT.
