The Alumni Association Unit at the College of Languages and Translation, King Khalid University (Guraiger branch), organized a successful online training course titled "Business Management and Leadership" on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The course was delivered by Dr. Zahia Al-Hussein Belkacem Hamdan, an Assistant Professor at the College of Business.

The event attracted a significant number of students who actively participated throughout the session.

The College of Languages and Translation (CLT) at King Khalid University has issued a comprehensive set of final exam regulations to complement the university-wide Rights and Duties Guide. These guidelines aim to promote fairness, discipline, and academic integrity during exams. Here are the nine key rules all students are expected to follow:

The session was delivered online by Dr. Mashael Hussein Khalifa, Assistant Professor at the Applied College in Abha, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The training program covered digital marketing, its various types, its importance, and the elements of the digital marketing mix. The session featured significant interaction and participation from the students.

Recognizing the significant impact of tolerance on individuals and society, the College of Languages and Translation Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, hosted a program titled "Future Teachers: On the International Day of Tolerance." The event took place at the Sixteenth Intermediate School in Abha on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In an effort to equip students with vital competencies for the modern world, the College of Languages and Translation Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized a workshop titled "English as the Key to Unlock Powerful Soft Skills" as part of the "Language Secrets" program.

Dr. Sarah Alamri conducted a training workshop titled "Special Workshop on Dissertation Writing for PhD Students” at a webinar organized by the Scientific Research, Innovation, and Graduate Studies Unit of the College of Languages and Translation at King Khalid University on November 6, 2024. The workshop provided guidance on navigating the complex process of writing a dissertation by discussing strategies and tools to help PhD students manage their time effectively, set realistic goals, and maintain productivity throughout their journey.

On November 4, 2024, final-year students from nine campuses participated in a comprehensive pre-test organized by the Jahiziya Committee within the College of Languages and Translation (CLT). The initiative was led by Dr. Merzin Al-Shahrani, an esteemed faculty member who recently returned to the college after serving as the Vice President for Academic Development and Quality. His return has been warmly welcomed, and he is spearheading efforts to enhance student readiness for national assessments.

On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 8:00 PM, final-year undergraduate students from the College of Languages & Translation participated in a joint online workshop via Blackboard Collaborate. Organized by the Jahiziya Committee, with support from the Alumni Unit, the session aimed to guide students through the Jahiziya Exam—a national standardized test essential for assessing and sustaining academic programs in English language and linguistics.

In an effort to promote the global dissemination of Islamic teachings, the College of Languages and Translation Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for female students, organized a program titled "Religious Translation and Consolidating Our Beliefs." The event took place on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the entrance of Gate 9 in the Women's Complex in Al-Qureiqer, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
