In recognition of International Translation Day, the Female Campus of the Faculty of Languages and Translation recently hosted a seminar titled "Reality Of Translation at the clt Female Campus, Problems & Solutions." This event invited a dialogue about contemporary issues in translation, with an emphasis on identifying comprehensive solutions. The seminar experienced robust participation and attracted a large audience, further underscoring the interest in the topic.

On October 25, 2017, the Language Research Center of King Khalid University hosted a seminar featuring a presentation by Dr. Eyhab Bader Eddin. The discussion was rooted in Dr. Eyhab's Ph.D. thesis, titled "Semantic Problems in A. J. Arberry’s Translation of the Suspended Odes (Al-Muallaqat)."

On October 25, 2017, the Language Research Center of the Faculty of Languages and Translation at King Khalid University held a special Certificate Award Ceremony. The event, held every two weeks throughout the academic year of 1437-38, sought to honor presenters who had contributed to enhancing the body of knowledge through their compelling seminars.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Abdullah Al-Melhi, the Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation.

Under the esteemed patronage of the Dean, Dr. Abdullah Al-Melhi, and the careful supervision of Dr. Muhammed Shuaib Asiri, Vice-Dean for Academic Development & Quality, the Faculty of Languages & Translation's E-Learning Unit organized a seminar on "Recent Trends in E-Learning." This insightful presentation was delivered by Mr. Syed Asif Abbas on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at the E-Learning Training Center A/3/86.

In a bid to bolster student reading skills and foster a culture of literacy, the English Club of the Faculty of Languages and Translation paid a visit to the 14^th Book and Information Fair. The delegation comprised of Assistant Dean Dr. Suad Al-Qahtani, College Coordinator of Activities and Social Services Mrs. AmatulHafeez Alvi, College Coordinator of Public Relations and Media Ms. Aisha Alvi, several faculty members, and 14 students.

Under the aegis of the Vice Presidency of Student Affairs, the Faculty of Languages and Translation's Female Campus was an active participant in the program, "Proud Of My Femininity". This initiative sought to bolster innate feminine qualities and challenge behaviors that are contrary to natural disposition.

On October 17, 2017, Hassan Costello, a Language Instructor at the Faculty of Languages and Translation (clt), presented a seminar aimed at familiarizing participants with the Quality Matters (QM) peer review process and certification in online education.

Mr. Mohsin Raza Khan recently delivered a compelling presentation at a seminar held by the Language Research Center of King Khalid University on October 11, 2017. The talk, titled "Flipped Model Classroom," focused on the efficacy and advantages of this innovative pedagogical approach.

The Faculty of Languages and Translation at King Khalid University, under the stewardship of Dean Dr. Abdullah Al-Melhi and the supervision of Dr. Muhammed Shuaib Asiri, Vice Dean for Academic Development & Quality, and Dr. Yahya Asiri, Vice Dean of the College, recently organized a thought-provoking presentation. Nadia Mohammed Aloraij, a Master's student from the Faculty of Languages and Translation, recently presented her research on the influence of English on the Arabic language in the city of Abha. The presentation, titled 'The Hegemony of English in the Linguistic Landscape of Abha,' was part of a seminar organized by the Language Research Center of King Khalid University, held on October 4, 2017, at the King Abdullah Road campus.
