The event was attended by the Managing Administration of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, as well as the Deanship of E-Learning, highlighting its significance.
The Faculty of Languages and Translation, in collaboration with the English Club, organized an informative seminar on academic writing. Dr. Charles Forman, Assistant Professor, was invited as the guest speaker for the event. The seminar aimed to introduce students to the essential skills and processes involved in academic writing.

The Faculty of Languages and Translation (clt) organized an engaging Research Day in the fall of 2015, facilitated by its esteemed Language Research Center. Abdullah Omar, a graduate of the Faculty of Languages and Translation (clt) and an ongoing student in the MA program in Applied Linguistics, has achieved a remarkable milestone by receiving a Certificate of excellent achievement in English and First Class Honors.
The Language Research Center recently organized a thought-provoking presentation titled "Lexical Non-Equivalence in Translation." Dr. Eyhab Abdulrazak Bader Eddin delivered an engaging seminar that delved into the intricacies of lexical incongruence in translation. Throughout the session, he explored various theoretical frameworks, conducted critical analyses, and discussed patterns of non-equivalence in lexical terms, all while emphasizing the lack of exact meaning equivalence between words in different languages.
Ibrahim Al-Hilali, an alumnus of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, has been recognized and honored by several esteemed individuals and organizations. His accomplishments were acknowledged by His Excellency Muhammad Bin Sabra, the Governor of Mohaiyl, and Dr. Hamza Al Fathahi, the President for Social Development.
