New Student Orientation 2018

On February 6, 2018, the Faculty of Languages and Translation (clt) hosted a Level 1 Student Orientation at the auditoriums of Building D to warmly welcome incoming students.

The English Club initiated the event, greeting the new arrivals and highlighting the enriching experiences that await them at the clt. Dr. Abdullah Al-Melhi, Dean of the Faculty, extended a heartfelt welcome, emphasizing the unity within the academic community.

clt Delighted to Receive Certificate of Appreciation

The Faculty of Languages and Translation (clt) was recently awarded a certificate of appreciation by the Deanship of E-Learning for their vital support in delivering the successful eLearning Practitioner Course. Dr. Abdullah Al-Melhi, Dean of clt, and Dr. Yahya Asiri, Vice Dean, graciously accepted the certificate.

The eLearning Practitioner Course, an initiative aimed at faculty members across the university, was conducted from October 25, 2017, to November 9, 2017. The course was ably delivered by the clt E-Learning Supervisor, Mohsin Raza Khan.

Drawing on his extensive research expertise, Professor Brown demystified the characteristics of qualitative and quantitative research in applied linguistics research. He further highlighted the evolution of the mixed-methods research (MMR) paradigm.

Al-Dhikr High School Visits the clt Female Campus

Fostering strong ties with both government and private educational institutions, the Faculty of Languages and Translation (clt) at our female campus recently welcomed a delegation from Al-Dhikr High School. This delegation consisted of 20 senior students and three teachers. The visit began with an informative orientation hosted by the English Club, which offered a detailed overview of the faculty and the English program.
