On October 10, 2019, we shared the news of the English Club's camping trip to Al-Souda. The students participated in an intense jeopardy-style review game during this outing. The competitive spirit was high, and from the group, a selection of top-performing students made it to the final round. In the end, a deadlock resulted, with six students sharing the victory.

On November 6, 2019, the Faculty of Languages and Translation, along with the English Club, sponsored a faculty member soccer tournament. The purpose of the event was to encourage camaraderie among the faculty members through friendly competition. Nine faculty members participated.

The faculty were separated into two teams with a King Khalid University student rounding out the field of players. The teams played continuously until Maghreb prayer. Everybody prayed together on the field. Subsequently, the marathon match resumed for another 60 minutes.

On October 16, 2019, Dr. Michael Hadzantonis delivered a seminar on 'Discourse Analysis in Linguistic Anthropology (Part 2)', organized by the Language Research Center at the Faculty of Languages and Translation.

On Monday, November 4, 2019, the Women's College Scientific Research Committee hosted a workshop focused on 'Colourful Semantics'. The event was facilitated by Dr. Sheila Simpkins, who shed light on the usage of this innovative technique in teaching writing classes.

The Academic Development and Quality Committee at the Faculty of Languages and Translation (clt), based at the King Abdullah Road Campus, exemplified their commitment to enhancing the quality of education by hosting a workshop on October 28, 2019. Titled "Bloom’s Taxonomy: Why Use It?", the event was facilitated by Dr. Sheila Simpkins.

On October 29, 2019, the English Club orchestrated a workshop titled 'Stress and Time Management', facilitated by Dr. Karem Abdelatif Ahmed. The primary objective of this workshop was to equip students with strategies to manage stress effectively, thereby enabling them to maintain high-performance levels even under challenging circumstances.

Dr. Khairiya Abudadi led a workshop on the use of Rbrul Statistics, as part of a seminar series organized by the Language Research Center at the Faculty of Languages and Translation (clt) of King Khalid University. The event took place on October 30, 2019.

The English Club at the Faculty of Languages and Translation, female section, recently hosted a highly competitive Speech Competition. Preliminary auditions took place on Monday, October 29, 2019, culminating in the selection of three standout participants for the final competition held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019.

On October 24, 2019, students from the Faculty of Languages and Translation, Female Section, joined the Intellectual Awareness Unit (IAU) Coordinator for an engaging workshop at the Faculty of Islamic Legislation. The workshop, led by Dr. Nora Al-Faifi, delved into the importance of setting life goals and the relentless pursuit of achieving them.

In the week of October 20, 2019, representatives from the Faculty of Languages and Translation (clt) were invited to visit 'Excellent Educational Schools' in Abha. The clt delegation included Dean Abdullah Al-Melhi, English Club Director Faisal Alfadhil, and club member Ali Al-Jasser.
