On October 9th, 2023, King Khalid University's Department of Translation, led by Dr. Eisa Asiri and significantly supported by the Translation Unit, concluded its groundbreaking Tourism Translator Competition with remarkable success. The event was honored by the presence of His Excellency Prof. Faleh Al-Solami, the University President, and served as an innovative initiative that aligns with the tourism goals outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.

In March 2022, the Bachelor of Arts in English Program at King Khalid University achieved a significant milestone: full accreditation by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission for five years. This landmark accomplishment underscores the program's standing as a leading center for English language and translation studies. The accreditation serves as a testament to the collective efforts of the university's senior leadership, internal quality consultants, and dedicated faculty and staff.
