With the patronage of Dr. Abdullah Al-Melhi, Dean of the college, the E-Learning Unit organized a highly anticipated "E-Learning Orientation Week" for new students from Sunday, September 7, 2014, to Thursday, September 11, 2014.

The efforts of the E-Learning Unit were recognized and appreciated by key figures in the college, including Dr. Ahmad Ismail Assiri, Vice Dean, Dr. Abdulkhaleq Al-Qahtani, Vice Dean of Academic Development & Quality, and Mr. Abdullah Al Rezgi, Director of the English Language Center. They expressed their full support and guidance, playing a vital role in ensuring the orientation week's success.

Mr. Mohsin Raza Khan, the dedicated supervisor of the E-Learning Unit, emphasized that the primary objective of the orientation week was to familiarize new students with the necessity and practical application of the Blackboard learning management system. Through personalized interactions, the students were individually introduced to the E-Learning system in their respective classrooms, providing them with a hands-on understanding of its features and benefits.

Mr. Ali Alamri, Director of Student Activities, shared his unique experience of contacting the new students in their classrooms during the orientation week. He emphasized the importance of E-Learning in today's world, highlighting its role in creating an enhanced teaching and learning environment. Recognizing the significance of technology in education, he stressed the need for embracing E-Learning for a more effective and comprehensive educational experience.

The success of the orientation week would not have been possible without the dedicated support of the E-Learning Unit's team members. Mr. Abdullah Al-Zubain, E-Learning Specialist, Dr. Khaled Mohanna, E-Learning Team Manager, Mr. Jabir Al-Thebi, Dr. Mohammad Asif, Mr. Salahuddin Abdurrab, Mr. Eric Beer, Mr. Hassan Costello, Mr. Jawed Ahmed, and Mr. Rizwan Ghani contributed their expertise and unwavering support, ensuring a holistic and well-rounded experience for the new students throughout the week.

The "E-Learning Orientation Week" served as an important foundation for new students, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the E-Learning system.
