Dr. Mohammed Alward recently received an acknowledgment from the Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, Dr. Abdullah Al-Melhi, for his innovative application of technology. Dr. Alward developed a grade calculation tool using Microsoft Excel that has greatly streamlined the process of producing grade distributions required for comprehensive course reports.

Dr. Osman began his discussion with an introduction to Mark Twain, invoking Ernest Hemingway's quote from 1935, “All modern American Literature comes from one book by Mark Twain called Huckleberry Finn.” This quotation underscored Twain's substantial influence on American literature.

The Third Annual Forum on English Language Teaching (ELT), entitled "Modern Teaching English Strategies," was held on April 14, 2018, at the Mercure Hotel in Khamis Mushait, Saudi Arabia.
