On November 21, 2021, the English Club, in collaboration with the Guidance and Counselling Unit, hosted a workshop titled 'How to Prepare for an Examination (Essentials and Strategies)' facilitated by Javed Ahmed. The workshop attracted nearly 20 participants and aimed to demonstrate how students could take control of their study time for optimal productivity using the Knowledge, Question, Read, Recall, and Review (KQ3) strategy.

On November 17, 2021, the Scientific Research Committee hosted a webinar titled "Capturing the Emotional Experiences of English as a Foreign Language University Teachers: A Critical Perspective." The session was presented by Dr. Eman Alzaanin, an Assistant Professor in Applied Linguistics at the Faculty of Languages and Translation, King Khalid University, Abha.

On November 17, 2021, the Language Research Center organized a webinar during which Dr. Shadma Iffat Rahmatullah presented her current research study titled "Are We Ready for Mainstreaming in EFL Classrooms? An Overview of Study".

On November 15, 2021, the Faculty of Languages and Translation's Alumni Unit, coordinated by Mohsin Raza Khan, hosted a webinar featuring Dr. Eisa Al-Eisa Asiri. Fresh from his stint at Macquarie University in Australia, Dr. Asiri spoke to an audience of 107 about the crucial transition from the classroom to the workplace, focusing on essential professional skills for translation and interpreting students.

On Monday, November 8, 2021, King Khalid University marked the seventh anniversary of the ascension to the throne of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. As a centerpiece of the celebration, a public dialogue on leadership and achievement was hosted in Theater 6, led by His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Fallah Al-Solamy.

During the week of November 7, 2021, three distinguished faculty members contributed their insights to a series of webinars designed to equip teaching assistants and lecturers with the necessary skills and understanding to navigate the rigorous demands of a doctoral program. These informative sessions, attended by approximately 150 enthusiastic participants each day, were overseen by the Vice Presidency of Graduate Studies and Academic Research and orchestrated by the Scholarship Department.

On November 10, 2021, Mohammad Adil led a comprehensive workshop titled "A Professional Approach to Reducing Stress Involved in Course Report Writing." Organized by the Language Research Center, the workshop delved into the fundamentals of course report writing and emphasized techniques for reducing the stress associated with this task. Adil underscored that adopting a professional approach to this task could significantly alleviate the anxiety many educators face before submitting course reports.

As part of the community outreach program under the aegis of the Bachelor of Arts in English program, spearheaded by Dean Abdullah Al-Melhi, we collaborated with the university’s Media Center to translate a portion of the Arabian Highland Theme in the Aseer Region Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan is under the supervision of the Aseer Development Authority (ASDA).

On October 27, 2021, the Faculty of Languages and Translation's Alumni Unit organized a webinar, which saw Dr. Abdulrahman Almosa, Vice Dean for Academic Development & Quality, address a gathering of 60 participants. Titled "Future Job Prospects for English Graduates," the webinar emphasized the significance of durable skills and was designed to equip students and alumni of the Bachelor of Arts in English program with valuable insights to aid their professional growth, aligned with anticipated learning outcomes and the evolving labor market landscape.

On October 20, 2021, a webinar organized by the Language Research Center hosted Dr. Yahia Zeghoudi's presentation titled "Functional Dysphonia: A Rehabilitative Approach." The session focused on a particular speaking disorder, known as functional dysphonia.
