On March 02, 2022, the Language Research Center hosted a webinar in which Ms. Sharmin Siddiqui presented a paper titled "Enhancing Communicative Competence in English: Some Needs to Be Addressed". Her presentation shone a spotlight on the concept, components, strategies, and challenges of communicative competence.

تمثيل مسرحية لكاتب مشهور من التسعينات بعنوان Pygmalion. وذلك في يوم الخميس الموافق ١٤٤٣/٧/٣٠ هـ من ١١-١٢.
حيث تضمنت المسرحية ٩ مشاهد ولكل مشهد ديكور وازياء مختلفة. صممت طالبات النادي أزياء وديكور كل مشهد وتنقلت الطالبات بين المشاهد بكل سلاسة.

On February 16, 2022, Mr. Mohammad Adil led a dynamic workshop titled "A Practical Approach to Aligning Course Learning Outcomes with Tests and Other Assessment Tools." This timely workshop, organized by the Language Research Center, provided a deep dive into methods for effectively measuring course learning outcomes, stressing the significance of advance planning for outcome alignment.
Translation Unit at clt has subtitled into English three YouTube videos about recent national topics (the Saudi Founding Day, the difference between the Saudi Founding Day and National Day, and Aseer Strategic Development Plan), aiming to provide much-needed information for non-Arabic audience locally and globally and familiarize them with the remarkable national developments in Saudi Arabia. On February 8, 2022, four Bachelor of Arts in English students and representatives of King Khalid University's 2021 Online Summer Program with Monash University, delivered a comprehensive webinar entitled "Summer Course Experience: Monash University".
Dr. Abdulwahid Al-Zumor, a member of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, recently participated in a three-day Higher Education Quality Assurance training for international experts. The training took place from January 31 to February 4, 2022, under the auspices of the Accreditation Agency for Study Programmes in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics (ASIIN).
As the Spring 2022 semester commenced, Mohsin Raza Khan, the E-Learning Supervisor, hosted an e-learning practitioner certification course available to all faculty members. Recognizing the significance of instructional design training and an enriched learning environment for students, the course was in alignment with the educational vision of all colleges of the university.
