Shoura Council Member Leads Inspirational Program at the Women's Campus
The Women's College of the Faculty of Languages and Translation's English Club hosted an invigorating program titled "Steps" on Monday, 24/6/1439 from 10 am to 11 am. Comprising four enriching segments, the event aimed to inspire and motivate its attendees.
In the initial part of the program, two faculty members recounted their academic journeys, sharing their experiences and insights gleaned en route to achieving their respective successes. Their stories set a tone of resilience, determination, and dedication that resonated with the audience.
Following this, the program was privileged to feature Shoura Council Member, Professor Nora Al-Shaalan. She showcased an inspirational video outlining the anticipated role students should undertake within the Faculty of Languages and Translation. The video underscored the importance of Saudi women's roles, positions, and status, both locally and globally, highlighting the students' potential to contribute meaningfully to this narrative.
The event then showcased short video clips portraying the daily routines of two outstanding students from the Faculty of Health and the College of Languages and Translation. Within these videos, the students disclosed the critical factors behind their success and academic excellence. Their first-hand accounts were a testament to the power of diligence, discipline, and passion in achieving academic goals.
In a fitting conclusion to the program, attendees actively engaged in an interactive segment where they opened envelopes placed under their seats, revealing motivational content. The participants were invited to read and reflect upon these messages, sharing an inspiring story of their own in response. This final session sparked a lively and thought-provoking discourse, making the event a resounding success.
