Reading Challenge Competition Comes to a Close
The Faculty of Languages and Translation (clt) on the Female Campus recently celebrated the conclusion of their reading challenge activities. The challenge kicked off with a visit to King Khalid University's 14th Book and Information Fair, followed by the launch of the reading competition which attracted a large number of participants.
The event was held in a warm and traditional setting, complete with a 'Story-Teller Chair' where participants shared their experiences. Students from the English Club discussed the books they had purchased and read, in the presence of Assistant Dean Dr. Suaad Al-Qahtani, English Department Supervisor Dr. Mona Al-Shehri, clt office employees, and faculty and staff members.
The Activities Coordinator, Mrs. AmatulHafeez, expressed her delight at the success of the event and extended her gratitude for the unwavering support and encouragement that had been received. A highlight of the event was the lively prize distribution ceremony, where winners of the competition were announced, and certificates were distributed.
To conclude the successful program, attendees enjoyed Arabic coffee and traditional food, further emphasizing the cozy and communal atmosphere of the event.
