Recently, a hands-on training course was conducted at the First Quran Based Intermediate and High School in Abha. The course, organized by Ms. Asma Al-Qahtani, the Supervisor of the Community Service Committee at the Faculty of Languages and Translation, was aimed at promoting the self-study of the English language through contemporary methods.

In this interactive training session, Ms. Al-Qahtani introduced the teachers to a wealth of online resources available on the Faculty of Languages and Translation's website. These resources were presented as potent tools for enhancing their language learning process. Alongside, she also acquainted the students with a variety of popular mobile phone applications that inject an element of entertainment and engagement into the process of learning English.

The training session concluded with Ms. Al-Qahtani guiding students on how to leverage other well-known language learning strategies effectively. This session was specifically designed to equip students with a broader toolkit as they pursue their journey of learning English as a foreign language. The training was seen as a valuable initiative, providing students and teachers with modern and engaging strategies to enhance their language learning experiences.
