On March 2, 2020, the Women's Scientific Research Committee of the Bachelor of Arts in English program hosted the third session in the Academic Writing Workshop series. The workshop was led by Dr. Nada Alqarni, the Supervisor of the Department of English.

On March 3, 2020, Hassan Costello spearheaded an enlightening workshop, 'Resume and Cover Letter Essentials,' meticulously crafted under the supervision of Dr. Abdulrahman Almosa, Vice Dean for Academic Development & Quality. This event, specifically tailored for senior students and alumni of the Bachelor of Arts in English program, was aimed at furnishing attendees with the tools required to present their skills and qualifications in a compelling manner to potential employers.

The Women's Advising and Counseling Unit of the Bachelor of Arts in English program recently organized a comprehensive three-day smoking and drug awareness campaign. This enlightening initiative included informative lectures, practical workshops, and an exhibition.

The campaign was a collaborative effort, with the unit partnering with several local organizations and medical institutions to bring awareness and educate the community about the harmful effects of smoking and drug use.

The contributing entities that played an integral part in the campaign's success included:

فعالية The English Club Picnic (نزهة النادي) وذلك يوم الأربعاء الموافق ١٤٤١/٧/٩ من الساعة ٩-١٢.
تكونت النزهة من عدة جلسات مختلفة ترفيهية وتعليمية ممتعة:
- (جلسة النقاش) والتي تحتوي على بطاقات مواضيع مختلفة وعلى الحضور إختيار موضوع وتبادل الحوار حوله.
- (جلسة التعليم الذاتي للغات) والتي جمعت طالبات تعلمن لغات مختلفة كاليابانية والكورية والصينية والتركية ويشرحن للحضور عن اللغة و طريقة تعلمهن لها.

In a cooperative endeavor with Cosmoline Clinics in Abha, the Unit of Advising and Counseling of the Bachelor of Arts in English program held an enlightening workshop on February 25, 2020. Titled "Students' Anxiety and its Treatments," the workshop offered students the opportunity to understand and manage anxiety disorders better.

On February 26, 2020, a valuable workshop titled 'LinkedIn Learning' was conducted by Mohsin Khan, the Alumni Unit Coordinator at the Faculty of Languages and Translation (clt). Supervised by Dr. Abdulrahman Almosa, the Vice Dean for Academic Development & Quality, the workshop aimed to address a pressing issue — the lack of knowledge among students regarding LinkedIn Learning and its potential benefits.

نظمت وحدة الخريجات بكلية اللغات والترجمة ورشة عمل بعنوان LinkedIn Learning يوم الخميس الموافق 26/6/1441. قدمتها منسقة اللينكد ان بكلية اللغات و الترجمة د. أمل متولي بحضور و مشاركة منسقة اللينكد ان بالجامعة أ. فاطمة عسيري.
وقد بدأت الدكتورة امل متولي باستعراض معلومات عن لينكندان ومبادرة الدورات التدريبية المتاحة على الموقع وتناولت بعض المزايا التي يقدمها الموقع للمستخدمين ومنها احتواء الموقع على دورات تدريبية ذات مستويات مختلفة
تتعدى ٩٠٠٠ دورة تدريبية وتشمل مهارات متعددة منها اللغة والمهارات الشخصية وإدارة الأعمال والتكنولوجيا
