On March 8, 2022, the Training and Staff Member Development Unit of the Science & Arts College in Rijal Alma hosted a webinar featuring a presentation by Ms. Anjum Mishu. The presentation, titled "How to Conduct a Student-Centered Class?", shed light on the concept, strategies, issues, and challenges associated with student-centered learning environments.

During her talk, Mishu emphasized that while numerous educators employ student-centered or collaborative learning models, there is a prevalent apprehension that yielding classroom control might lead to a compromised educational experience. However, she argued that empowering students involves more from instructors than merely abdicating the traditional lecturing role.

In her address, Mishu proposed several frameworks aimed at helping faculty members strike a balance between fostering a semi-autonomous classroom atmosphere and maintaining quality control. She elaborated that these guidelines would help teachers successfully transition to a more student-led teaching approach without sacrificing the educational outcomes.

In addition to her presentation, Mishu shared a lesson plan specifically designed with the student-centered classroom concept in mind. This addition served to further illuminate her points and provide attendees with a practical application of the theories she discussed.
