In late November, the Faculty of Languages & Translation (clt) orchestrated a dynamic orientation program for female educators. The clt, resolute in aligning the outputs of the education system with both the demands of the marketplace and the educational standards of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA), has reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating quality opportunities for all through top-tier training.

The orientation showcased a series of enlightening presentations designed to align with our strategic educational objectives, as outlined below:

  • Abdullah Al-Rezgi, Director of the English Language Center, inaugurated the program, welcoming all attendees and expressing profound appreciation for the initiative.
  • Dr. Ismail Al-Refai, Director of the Language Research Center, illuminated the audience with a comprehensive overview of the center and its primary functions. He strongly urged teachers to immerse themselves in the center's activities.
  • Dr. Abdul Wahid Al Zumor, Head of the Academic Development & Quality Unit at clt, enriched the audience with an informative presentation on the NCAAA and the role of the quality unit.
  • Mohsin Raza Khan, Supervisor of the E-Learning Unit at clt, provided a thorough insight into the practical incorporation of Blackboard in EFL teaching.
  • Jawed Ahmed, General Coordinator of the English Language Center, provided an overview of the course plans for the 011/012/015 courses.

The program successfully delivered on its objective of enhancing the understanding and knowledge of its participants, thereby marking a successful educational initiative.
