Glimpse of Rhythm or Glimpse of Truth?
The Faculty of Languages and Translation is thrilled to unveil the publication of Sharear Talukder's first poetic anthology, titled 'Glimpse of Rhythm'. Talukder, a distinguished lecturer at the faculty, has used his literary prowess to explore a broad spectrum of compelling topics such as citizen rights, freedom, and social justice, amongst others.
Talukder's 'Glimpse of Rhythm' serves as a vocal platform for him to express his deep-seated frustration and disdain for injustice. However, despite these grave issues, he remains hopeful, striving to paint a picture of a world teeming with hope and aspiration. Talukder candidly comments on his work, stating, "I decried the injustice of every manner but cried for a world full of hope and aspiration through my work."
The poetry collection not only reveals Talukder's poetic rhythm but also shines a light on his perception of truth. As the title suggests, this 'Glimpse of Rhythm' is indeed a 'Glimpse of Truth'.
