Games Fair
The Women's English Club of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, in conjunction with the Deanship of Student Affairs, hosted an event titled 'Games Fair' on Monday, February 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The event was held in Building C and was inaugurated by Assistant Dean Dr. Suaad Al-Qahtani, Department Supervisor Mrs. Safia, and English Club Head Mrs. Maram with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting.
The Games Fair saw the enthusiastic participation of eight groups, which competed in a range of intriguing games. The key aim was to create a vibrant and engaging environment where students could learn while having fun and could practice new vocabulary in an informal and playful setting. The fair was packed with various activities, including a ticket booth, that turned the learning of a new language into an enjoyable experience for the attendees.
Adding an element of fitness and health awareness to the event, the Director of Gold's Gym, Noha Al-Shahrani, along with her team, conducted a fitness class. The students participating in the class were presented with a complimentary one-day visitor's pass to Gold's Gym as an encouragement towards pursuing a healthy lifestyle.
As the event concluded, certificates were presented to the participants and the coaches from Gold's Gym, acknowledging their valuable contribution to the success of the Games Fair. Their visit greatly enriched the overall experience, adding a unique dimension to the club's event.
