On March 23, 2022, Ms. Anjum Mishu delivered a presentation on "Language of the Professionals: How to Write Academic English (International Tests, Research Papers or Journals)" as part of a webinar orchestrated by the female Alumni Unit. Her presentation focused on the challenges students often encounter when preparing for competency tests or writing research papers required in their MA and Ph.D. programs. She underscored the struggle students often face in transitioning from everyday, informal language use to the high standards of academic discourse expected in tertiary education.

On March 23, 2022, the Language Research Center organized a webinar featuring a presentation titled "Analyzing the Efficacy of the Teaching Approaches Implemented by Literature Teachers for EFL Students: Undergraduate Learners' Perspective". The insightful presentation was delivered by Dr. Najmus Sarifa and Ms. Rakhshinda Jabeen.

The Translation Unit (TU) of our Faculty of Languages and Translation hosted a translation competition entitled "Translator of the Nation" on February 22, 2022. This event was part of the faculty's commemoration of Saudi Arabia's 'Founding Day.' Contestants were tasked with translating a series of journalistic texts pertaining to this noteworthy national celebration.

On March 8, 2022, the Training and Staff Member Development Unit of the Science & Arts College in Rijal Alma hosted a webinar featuring a presentation by Ms. Anjum Mishu. The presentation, titled "How to Conduct a Student-Centered Class?", shed light on the concept, strategies, issues, and challenges associated with student-centered learning environments.

شارك فريق كلية اللغات والترجمة لكرة القدم في بطولة الاولمبياد الثامن على مستوى جامعة الملك خالد وكان ذلك في تاريخ ١٩-٧-١٤٤٣،ولعب اولى مبارياته امام كلية العلوم الطبية بأبها وانتهت بفوز نادي كلية اللغات والترجمة بنتيجة خمسة اهداف لصفر ليتاهل لدور السادس عشر لهذه البطولة.
وفي دوري السادس عشر واجهت كلية اللغات والترجمة كلية الحاسب الآلي وتمكنت كلية اللغات والترجمة بالفوز مقابل اربعة اهداف لثلاثه ليتأهل الفريق الى دور الثامن .

On March 2, 2022, the Scientific Research Unit hosted a virtual roundtable discussion focused on the field of translation. The conversation was initiated by emphasizing the importance of translation and translation studies as disciplines concerning theory, description, and practical application. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Amal Metwally, who introduced translation as not only an interlingual transfer but also an intercultural communication tool.

On March 02, 2022, the Language Research Center hosted a webinar in which Ms. Sharmin Siddiqui presented a paper titled "Enhancing Communicative Competence in English: Some Needs to Be Addressed". Her presentation shone a spotlight on the concept, components, strategies, and challenges of communicative competence.

تمثيل مسرحية لكاتب مشهور من التسعينات بعنوان Pygmalion. وذلك في يوم الخميس الموافق ١٤٤٣/٧/٣٠ هـ من ١١-١٢.
حيث تضمنت المسرحية ٩ مشاهد ولكل مشهد ديكور وازياء مختلفة. صممت طالبات النادي أزياء وديكور كل مشهد وتنقلت الطالبات بين المشاهد بكل سلاسة.

On February 16, 2022, Mr. Mohammad Adil led a dynamic workshop titled "A Practical Approach to Aligning Course Learning Outcomes with Tests and Other Assessment Tools." This timely workshop, organized by the Language Research Center, provided a deep dive into methods for effectively measuring course learning outcomes, stressing the significance of advance planning for outcome alignment.
