The Faculty of Languages & Translation at the Women's Campus held the second session of the Sister to Sister Program, an initiative organized by the Scientific Research Committee, on March 19, 2018. The program is designed to inspire and uplift undergraduate students by presenting them with real-life examples of overcoming challenges and achieving goals. These examples were delivered by Master's students who candidly shared their experiences.

Three M.A. students volunteered to give motivational speeches for this session of the Sister to Sister Program. The program began with a brief introduction by Ms. Lama Hussein, followed by Ms. Alanoud Abdullah presenting the speakers to the audience. The first speaker, Ms. Rawan Mushabab Hussein, shared insights from her college life and urged undergraduates to embrace the principle of 'learning every day'. She highlighted the importance of honing the four essential skills in the English language.

The second speaker, Ms. Messadah Shaye Al-Qahtani, relayed her student life experiences and encouraged the students to 'believe in themselves', 'work hard', and remain confident in their abilities. Her message served as a powerful motivation for the audience. The third speaker, Ms. Aliah Khudaish Muqri, underscored the crucial role of determination in achieving success.

The program concluded with a question-and-answer session led by Ms. Rowa Abdullah, during which Ms. Shanjida Halim, a member of the Scientific Research Committee, shared inspiring words with the undergraduates. The program's finale saw the Coordinator of the SRC, Ms. Amal Metwally, on behalf of Assistant Dean Dr. Suaad Al-Qahtani and Head of the English Department Dr. Mona Al-Shehri, presenting certificates of appreciation to the three M.A. students whose contributions made the program a success.

Throughout the program, Ms. Tanzina Halim, a member of the Scientific Research Committee, oversaw participant attendance. Approximately 29 students from varying levels of study attended the second session of the Sister to Sister Program, indicating its wide-reaching appeal and impact.
