2nd Twitter Winners' Trip
On October 10, 2019, we shared the news of the English Club's camping trip to Al-Souda. The students participated in an intense jeopardy-style review game during this outing. The competitive spirit was high, and from the group, a selection of top-performing students made it to the final round. In the end, a deadlock resulted, with six students sharing the victory.
Following this, on November 7, 2019, these six co-winners were rewarded with an exclusive trip to a secret location in Al-Souda. Guided by English Club Director Faisal Al-Fadhil, the students ventured to the edge of a waterfall. They spent the evening indulging in enriching conversations, conducting clean-up activities in the surrounding area, and relishing a traditional campfire dinner.
"The 2nd Twitter Winners' Trip was initiated to appreciate those who show keen interest in our activities and possess a competitive spirit to partake in our adventures," said Director Al-Fadhil. Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. Yahya Asiri, acknowledged the event as a valuable experience for the students. The Faculty of Languages and Translation continues to provide such opportunities to promote active learning and engagement among its students.
