Recognizing the paramount importance of developing English language skills not only for specialists but also for other disciplines—especially in applied medical sciences and public health—the College of Languages and Translation Club and the Applied Medical Sciences College Club in Khamis Mushait collaborated with the Deanship of Student Affairs for the female section to organize a workshop titled "English Without Borders: Modern Technological Applications in Developing Language Skills."

Presented by Dr. Eman Alian, an assistant professor at the College of Languages and Translation, the workshop took place on Wednesday, October 28, 2024, at the theater of the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Khamis Mushait. The event drew a large audience of female students and faculty members from both colleges.

Running from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the workshop highlighted some of the most outstanding applications and educational websites for learning and enhancing language skills. The initiative underscores a growing focus on leveraging modern technology to improve language proficiency across various academic fields.
