This research employs both quantitative and qualitative methodologies to examine the complex factors affecting community resilience across various settings. The study explores how elements such as social cohesion, governance effectiveness, adaptability, community involvement, and specific challenges influence resilience outcomes, using the five pillars of resilience as variables. Descriptive and inferential statistics are utilized to test hypotheses concerning the relationships among these factors, while qualitative data provides broader community perspectives and experiences.
The findings underscore the pivotal role of social capital in enhancing community capacity, emphasizing the importance of social relations and trust in developing community-based solutions to disasters.
