As of September 2024, there are no dedicated social media accounts for the college. The Social Media Unit works to send relevant content to the main university social media accounts to keep the community updated.
Vision
To establish and maintain a strong social media presence for the College of Languages and Translation (CLT) through university social media channels that connect with our stakeholders and promote our mission, vision, and values to the world.
Mission
The Social Media Unit at the College of Languages and Translation is responsible for coordinating with university-level social media channels to enhance the college's digital presence. We are committed to providing high-quality and relevant content that informs, educates, and engages our stakeholders, and to continuously improving our social media communication performance through analytics, feedback, and best practices.
Core Functions
Create and curate high-quality and relevant content for submission to the university's main social media channels, including announcements, accomplishments, events, news, and academic information.
Coordinate with the university's central social media team to ensure CLT's achievements and activities are properly represented on the university's social platforms.
Monitor university social media engagement with CLT content, using insights to improve our communication strategies.
Collaborate with other departments and units within the CLT to ensure that our social media content aligns with their goals and objectives, and to maximize visibility and impact.
Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, technologies, and best practices, continuously improving our skills and knowledge in digital content creation.
