On Sunday, December 11, 2016, a university-wide webinar on Blackboard training was expertly delivered by Mohsin Khan, the E-Learning Supervisor at the Faculty of Languages & Translation. The event, coordinated by the E-Learning Deanship, is part of a strategic initiative to broaden the scope of instructional design training, thereby enhancing the virtual learning environment for students and teachers.

The webinar's primary goals were centered around improving student learning, fostering engagement and interaction, and above all, ensuring quality education. These objectives were underpinned by several key expectations of the program participants, which included:

  • Crafting diverse content items to present a range of learning activities that enrich student understanding.
  • Administering authentic assessments that evaluate student knowledge through multiple, meaningful methods.
  • Utilizing select collaboration tools effectively to boost student engagement by facilitating knowledge sharing and creation.
  • The webinar was hailed as a resounding success and will serve as the groundwork for future webinars under the auspices of the Tamkeen Team. We extend our special gratitude to Mohammed Jarallah, E-learning Deanship Training Manager, and Javed Ahmad, ELC General Coordinator, for their comprehensive support.

In a recent update, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Mohsin Raza Khan was honored with a certificate of appreciation for his invaluable contributions at the commencement of the Spring 2017 Semester. The accolade was presented to Mr. Khan by the E-Learning Deanship, in recognition of his dedication and efforts.
