Gold's Gym Conducts Health Awareness Program at the clt
The Women's College English Club, under the Faculty of Languages and Translation, recently orchestrated a health-focused program titled "For a Better Life." This initiative, carried out in conjunction with the Gold's Gym Women's Club in Abha, aimed to underscore the connection between physical well-being and academic performance.
The event was opened by Assistant Dean Dr. Suad Al-Qahtani, who articulated the integral role of physical exercise in promoting overall health. Dr. Al-Qahtani emphasized that students who actively participate in fitness activities often exhibit enhanced time management skills. She further pointed out that research corroborates a positive correlation between regular physical exercise and improved academic performance.
Building on these sentiments, personal trainers from Gold's Gym elaborated on the benefits of maintaining a consistent physical activity routine. They explained how regular exercise not only enhances physical health but also mental agility, stress management, and productivity, all of which contribute to academic success.
As a tangible endorsement of the day's theme, temporary Gold's Gym memberships were generously offered to all student attendees by the personal trainers. This considerate gesture is anticipated to encourage the students to incorporate fitness activities into their daily routines, ultimately leading to a healthier and more productive academic journey.
