Gratitude Day at Female Campus
With a firm belief in the power of gratitude, the English Club recently hosted "The Gratitude Event", an occasion designed to foster and strengthen an elevated sense of appreciation for the blessings in our lives. This program served to remind all attendees of the richness and abundance surrounding us daily.
The event was initiated with a thought-provoking lecture by Assistant Dean, Dr. Suad Al-Qahtani, entitled "Do You Know How Much You Are Rich!" This was followed by a series of heartfelt speeches expressing gratitude for life's most significant blessings, including a compelling operetta honoring the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and our brave soldiers.
The program took a personal turn when Activities Coordinator, Mrs. AmatulHafeez, and Website Coordinator, Ms. Aisha Alvi, delivered a touching tribute to their father. This tribute included a surprise dedication, culminating in an inspiring speech delivered by their father to the students, highlighting the importance of valuing and honoring parents.
Continuing the theme of gratitude, English Club student representatives, Hajar Albishri, Mashail Saad, and Mashail Ali, paid tribute to their mothers who were present at the event. Haifa Al-Qahtani dedicated a segment to her sister, and Nora Abdullah expressed her gratitude towards her friends.
As the event neared its conclusion, the students of the English Club expressed their gratitude to Assistant Dean Dr. Suad Al-Qahtani for her unwavering support. Mrs. AmatulHafeez presented Dr. Al-Qahtani with a commemorative memento and flowers in appreciation of her exceptional guidance. The student representatives of the English Club also took the opportunity to thank all their teachers.
In the final part of the program, the English Club students presented a special tribute to their coordinator, Mrs. AmatulHafeez, applauding her continuous efforts and dedication in promoting student activities. The event concluded with Assistant Dean Dr. Suad Al-Qahtani distributing certificates of appreciation to distinguished faculty members, staff members, students, and employees. This gesture served to underscore the value the Faculty of Languages and Translation places on gratitude and recognition.
