On Monday, March 28, 2022, the Faculty of Languages and Translation at King Khalid University celebrated a significant milestone for its Bachelor of Arts in English Program. For the first time, the program has been awarded full accreditation by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA), a part of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, for a seven-year term starting in the first quarter of 2022.

This achievement solidifies the program's reputation as a premier program in language and translation studies. It exemplifies the commitment to quality education aimed at cultivating future leaders in English language studies and translation and contributing to the Kingdom's overall development and economic growth.

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Abdullah Al-Melhi, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, stated, "We are grateful to the entire senior leadership team of King Khalid University, including the president, vice president, vice rectors, and deanships. Without their support, this achievement would not be possible. We also extend our thanks to the internal quality consultants, whose dedication and enthusiasm have contributed significantly to the program's success. And of course, our heartfelt appreciation goes out to all faculty members and staff who worked collectively to accomplish this feat. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards in teaching, learning, research, student support, curricula, learning resources, and community service. This is a collective triumph for all of us."

Dr. Abdulrahman Almosa, Vice Dean for Quality and Development, also expressed his gratitude towards the quality team. "Their tireless efforts, working day and night, have led us to continually enhance our quality assurance system. This task was not easy, and it's now time to celebrate this remarkable achievement." He concluded by emphasizing how the program aligns with Vision 2030 and the Aseer Strategic Plan, aiming to foster graduates who can make significant contributions to the national economy and development across all levels within the Kingdom, particularly in the Asir region.
