The academic paper titled "EFL Students' Perceptions of Employing Technology Tools in Learning English at King Khalid University" focuses on exploring how English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students at King Khalid University perceive the use of technology tools in learning English. The primary research question centers on understanding these perceptions and how technology impacts their language learning skills.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the perceptions of EFL students regarding the use of various technology tools in their English learning process at King Khalid University. Specifically, the study aims to understand how these tools might enhance students' language skills, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The study is limited to a specific group of students at the university, providing insights into their experiences and attitudes toward technology in their language education.

The methodology employed in this research is a descriptive analysis, utilizing an opinion survey designed by the researchers. The survey was distributed to a purposive sample of 56 male and female EFL students from different campuses of King Khalid University. The participants were asked to respond to a 15-item questionnaire that measured their perceptions of technology use in learning English. The reliability of the survey was tested using Cronbach's alpha, which demonstrated a high reliability score of 0.98.

The key findings of the study reveal that the majority of the students had positive perceptions of employing technology tools in their English language learning. The results indicate that students perceive technology as a beneficial resource that enhances their interaction, independence, and collaboration in the learning process. Notably, a significant number of students agreed that technology tools improved their language skills and facilitated collaborative learning. However, challenges were also identified, such as the need for proper technological training and the limited technological knowledge among some instructors.

The conclusions drawn from the study suggest that technology tools positively influence EFL students' learning experiences at King Khalid University. The researchers recommend further exploration of technology use in English language learning at different educational levels and suggest providing appropriate training for both students and teachers to maximize the benefits of technology in education. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating technology into language teaching and highlights its potential to enhance the learning process in various educational settings.
