Workshop: Preparing for the Jahiziya Exam
The Jahiziya Exam is a comprehensive, standardized test developed by the Saudi Education and Training Evaluation Commission, aimed at assessing the readiness of final-year undergraduate students across various fields. For English language and linguistics majors, the exam evaluates key competencies in areas such as English proficiency, theoretical linguistics, and applied linguistics. It is designed to ensure that graduates possess the necessary skills and knowledge to meet industry standards and excel in their careers.
Our Bachelor of Arts in English program at the College of Languages & Translation is specifically aligned with the Jahiziya Exam, incorporating the knowledge and learning outcomes required by the national standards. The program ensures that students graduate with the proficiency and theoretical understanding expected by the exam.
In this workshop, Dr. Merzin Alshahrani will provide detailed guidance on how to prepare for the Jahiziya Exam, focusing on effective strategies to tackle the core areas of the test.
