CLT and Saudi Arabian Translation Association (SATA) Sign MoU to Advance Translation and Cultural Exchange
In a significant step towards fostering academic collaboration and promoting translation studies, the College of Languages and Translation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Arabian Translation Association. The agreement aims to enhance efforts in translation, cultural exchange, and academic research in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
The MoU outlines key areas of cooperation, including translation and publishing initiatives, cultural and academic events, specialized training programs, and the sharing of research databases. Both institutions will work together to enrich knowledge through translation, support talented students, and provide professional development opportunities for aspiring translators.
This collaboration marks a strategic effort to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s translation sector, bridging linguistic and cultural gaps while contributing to the nation’s broader educational and professional development goals.
