Building on Phase 1 Success

Phase 1 of the Soudah Development English Language Program, which commenced on January 12, 2025, has concluded with outstanding results. The program, a collaborative effort between the College of Languages and Translation at King Khalid University and Soudah Development, a Public Investment Fund Company, successfully equipped 200 participants with essential English language communication skills to enhance their academic and professional prospects.

Dr. Ahmad Assiri, Dean of the College of Languages and Translation, expressed pride in the program's achievements. He explained that the first phase of the Soudah Development English Language Program has exceeded their expectations. He mentioned they have witnessed remarkable progress among participants, who now possess improved communication skills that will significantly enhance visitor experiences at Soudah Peaks and contribute to the region's tourism development.

The program's first phase focused on developing comprehensive English language skills for participants from the Soudah and Rijal Almaa regions, improving their communication abilities, fostering cultural understanding, and enhancing visitor experiences at Soudah Peaks.

Phase 2: Expanding Opportunities

Following this success, the College of Languages and Translation is pleased to announce the second phase of the program, which will commence on May 12, 2025. The training sessions will be held at the College of Languages and Translation at King Khalid University's main campus in Al-Fara (view map) for male participants and at the Guraiger campus (view map) for female participants.

The second phase will maintain the program's high standards while accommodating a new cohort of participants. Sessions will be conducted twice weekly (Mondays and Tuesdays) from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, extending over a comprehensive 15-week period.

In a post on X (link) on April 17, Soudah Development Company shared that they are building on the success of the first round of 200 students. They announced the continuation of their English Language Program, which enables a new group of participants to gain the skills and knowledge needed to seize opportunities and succeed.
