Faculty Members Contribute to Public Forum on 7th Anniversary of King Salman
On Monday, November 8, 2021, King Khalid University marked the seventh anniversary of the ascension to the throne of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. As a centerpiece of the celebration, a public dialogue on leadership and achievement was hosted in Theater 6, led by His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Fallah Al-Solamy.
Dr. Abdulrahman Almosa, the Vice Dean for Academic Development & Quality, represented the Faculty of Languages and Translation alongside Dr. Mona Al-Shehri, the newly appointed General Supervisor of the Student Training Unit. Dr. Almosa moderated the event, opening the discussion by reflecting on the remarkable growth and unparalleled achievements seen across all economic and social facets during King Salman's reign. Following suit, Dr. Al-Shehri expanded upon the transformative role of women in the kingdom, attributing the surge in their societal participation to the progressive reforms championed by the leadership.
The dialogue was further enriched by contributions from Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Ahmed Al-Faya, General Director of the Human Resources Operations Department, Muhammad bin Shaya Al-Nahari, and student Reham Al-Shawal. They collectively underscored the substantial advancements made in local governance, urban policy, and youth empowerment, all of which are central tenets of the Vision 2030 initiative.
