Dr. Eyhab Abdulrazak Bader Eddin, an esteemed Assistant Professor of Translation at the Faculty of Languages and Translation, has contributed a chapter to an upcoming scholarly book, "Research Into Translation and Training in Arab Academic Institutions." The esteemed publication house, Routledge, is set to release the book on July 30, 2021.

Dr. Bader Eddin's chapter, meticulously crafted and thoughtfully developed, is aptly titled "Insights into Translators Training: Issues and Methods of Assessment". In this section, he provides in-depth analysis and commentary on pressing matters and effective techniques related to the assessment of translator training.

The book is a comprehensive volume addressing the status, roles, and structures of translators, presented through the lens of Arab scholars from numerous academic institutions across the Arab world. The collection navigates through diverse themes including the training of terminologists on managing, promoting, and marketing terms; the role of corpora in translation teaching in the Arab context; the utilization of translation technologies; and ongoing research on translator training.

Moreover, the book offers a critical examination of the state of undergraduate translation programs at five representative Arab universities. As such, "Research Into Translation and Training in Arab Academic Institutions" is set to be a must-read resource for students, professionals, and scholars engaged in the realm of Arabic translation and interpreting.
