English Club Hits the Pins and the Pool to Celebrate Contest Winners
The English Club of the Bachelor of Arts in English program at the Faculty of Languages and Translation recently celebrated high-performing students with an enriching outing on November 14, 2019. This event marked the third and final 'Twitter Winners' trip, a series of excursions designed as a reward for students who have excelled in various language-based competitions.
Supervised by English Club Director, Faisal Al-Fadhil, the students embarked on a rewarding trip to the Abha Airport Hotel. The day's activities included bowling and swimming, offering a balance of recreation and camaraderie. As the day drew to a close, the students gathered for a group dinner, during which they shared reflections on their experiences at King Khalid University and their active involvement in the English Club.
Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. Yahya Asiri, expressed his delight over the students' commitment to their education and their active engagement in college activities. Such events underscore the program's commitment to fostering a holistic educational environment that balances academic achievement with enriching extracurricular experiences.
