Attendees included the Assistant Dean, Dr. Suaad Al-Qahtani, Vice Dean, Dr. Salma Al-Qahtani, and several assistant professors and lecturers from the Department of English.

Following her opening remarks, Dr. Alzaanin outlined the incentives for the faculty to pursue accreditation and provided a brief overview of the accreditation process. She also elucidated on several standards the university is required to satisfy to attain accreditation. These encompass but are not limited to:

  • Defining clear Mission and Objectives;
  • Ensuring efficient Program Administration and Quality Assurance;
  • Maintaining adequate Learning Resources, Facilities, and Equipment.

As the seminar approached its conclusion, an interactive question-and-answer session was held to discuss the faculty’s preparedness to demonstrate that the program significantly aligns with the quality standards and other requirements necessary for accreditation.
