They initiated the session by sharing their personal journeys of navigating through the intriguing world of fiction. They also emphasized the various benefits and advantages associated with reading literary texts, from broadening one's perspective to improving language skills.

To further engage the attendees, they showcased visuals of timeless literary masterpieces penned by renowned authors, along with films based on popular novels. The goal of the program was to inspire students, particularly those unfamiliar with English Literature, to delve into this discipline early in their academic careers.

The importance of reading was highlighted during the session, underscoring how it can increase one's receptive understanding of new concepts and encourage the productive use of the target language. They explained how reading fiction, a familiar genre in English literature, could bolster communication skills and facilitate learning from fresh text.
