Towards a Clean Educational Environment Program
The Women's College English Club, part of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, recently spearheaded a program titled "Towards a Clean Educational Environment." The program took place in the college building's foyer from 9 am to 11 am throughout the week of 26/6/1439.
The initiative launched with an address by Assistant Dean Dr. Suad Al-Qahtani, who explored the principles of occupational and environmental hygiene within both workplace and academic settings. Her talk served as a foundation for a nuanced understanding of cleanliness and orderliness in an environment conducive to learning.
This initial presentation set the stage for an interactive Q&A segment titled "We Heard Your Opinion." During this session, a cross-section of students and professors offered their insights and recommendations. Their suggestions revolved around effective methods and key principles to maintain a sanitary and well-ordered environment within the university's buildings, courtyards, and halls. This collaborative exercise provided a platform for the university community to contribute their thoughts on enhancing their shared spaces.
The program culminated in a collective pledge from the faculty members, students, and janitorial staff. They all committed to embody the best practices discussed during the event and to serve as role models in maintaining a clean and hygienic educational environment. The ultimate goal is to create a conducive, healthy, and inspiring space for learning and academic exploration.
