The English Club at the Women's College, under the auspices of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, recently hosted an engaging developmental awareness program titled "New Beginning". The enriching event took place on Wednesday, the 28th of May, and lasted from 10 am to 12 pm.

The program was divided into four well-planned segments. The day's proceedings kicked off with a speech from the Assistant Dean, Dr. Suad Al-Qahtani, which spanned from 10 am to 11 am. Dr. Al-Naqir's enlightening discussion focused on the steps to success, identifying the catalysts that can propel individuals towards their goals, and ways to navigate around failure.

The second segment, which ran from 11 am to 11:15 am, comprised a thought-provoking presentation titled "What If I Was a Student Again". This talk was spearheaded by two female students from the college who shared their personal experiences. They spoke about the challenges they faced during their academic journey and detailed the strategies they adopted to overcome these hurdles.

Subsequently, a recognition ceremony took place from 11:15 am to 11:30 am. The purpose of this segment was to appreciate and award the top-performing students of the college for their academic excellence and dedication to their studies.

The event concluded with an inspirational speech aptly titled "I Think I Can Fly, I Think I Can Touch the Sky". This segment culminated in a symbolic balloon release ceremony. Each participant was asked to pen down their aspirations and wishes on a balloon. They then watched in delight as their balloons, carrying their hopes and dreams, soared high into the sky. All in all, the "New Beginning" program provided the students with a day filled with motivational discussions, personal experiences, and celebratory moments.
