The Deanship of E-Learning recently hosted a training session, under the careful guidance of Training Manager, Mohammed Jarallah, for new faculty members from across the university. Mohsin Raza Khan, the Supervisor of the E-Learning Unit at the Faculty of Languages and Translation, was the key speaker at the event.

During the session, Khan extensively explained the concept of E-Learning to the participants. His presentation concentrated on familiarizing attendees with the learning management system, Blackboard. He demonstrated the various processes involved in uploading and organizing content for the upcoming Fall 2017 courses, a crucial skill for educators.

Another significant aspect of the training was Khan's emphasis on the standards of the internationally acclaimed Quality Matters Program (QM). This program sets the benchmarks for course design quality and continual improvement in online learning, providing vital guidelines for new faculty.

Training Manager, Mohammed Jarallah, concluded the session by expressing gratitude to all the attendees, Jawed Ahmed, a lecturer from the Faculty of Languages and Translation, and the Faculty itself for their enthusiastic participation and support in this insightful training session. This training underscored the institution's commitment to delivering high-quality education using the latest tools and strategies.
