During the second week of the Fall 2014 academic semester, the Faculty of Languages and Translation received a distinguished visitor, Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Hassoun, the Vice Rector for Academic & Educational Affairs. The purpose of his visit was to assess the current state of affairs within the faculty. Dr. Abdallah Al-Melhi, the Dean of the faculty, warmly welcomed him and facilitated his visit.

As part of his visit, Dr. Al-Hassoun engaged in meaningful interactions with several students. He took the time to listen to their feedback and concerns, particularly regarding schedule changes and their overall perception of the college's preparation for the semester. This student-centered approach showcased the faculty's commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Additionally, Dr. Al-Hassoun toured the offices of key faculty members, including the Vice Dean, the Vice Dean for Academic Development & Quality, the Registrar, and the Language Enhancement Program (LEP). During his visit to the LEP, Mr. Abdur Rouf Khan, the LEP coordinator, provided a comprehensive overview of the different activities and initiatives within the enhancement program. Dr. Al-Hassoun expressed his satisfaction with the progress and preparation of the college, further highlighting the faculty's dedication to continuous improvement.
