نظّمت رابطة الخريجات بكلية اللغات والترجمة بقريقر ورشة عمل بعنوان:
"Smart EFL Teaching: A Workshop on Pedagogy and AI, Beyond the Textbook"
قدّمتها الدكتورة/ أمل عبد الستار متولي ، أستاذ مساعد بكلية اللغات والترجمة بجامعة الملك خالد، وذلك اليوم الثلاثاء الموافق 18/11/2025م.

استمرت الورشة لمدة ساعتين، وشهدت حضورًا  وتفاعلًا كبيرًا من المشاركات.
 وتطرّقت الورشة إلى عدد من المحاور المتقدمة في تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية، أبرزها: 

• *مفهوم Smart Teaching وكيفية دمجه في تعليم اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية.
• *دور الذكاء الاصطناعي في تطوير مهارات التدريس وتقديم تجارب تعلم مخصصة للطلاب.
• *توظيف التقنيات الرقمية في الصف وما بعدها لتجاوز حدود الكتاب المدرسي التقليدي.
• *استراتيجيات تربوية فعّالة لرفع كفاءة المعلم وزيادة دافعية المتعلم.
• *كيفية تصميم أنشطة تعليمية مبتكرة تعتمد على التفاعل، التحليل، والتعلّم الذاتي.
• *أمثلة تطبيقية ونماذج عملية لاستخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي داخل الصف وخارجه.

وفي ختام الورشة، قدّمت الدكتورة أمل عددًا من التوصيات التحفيزية للخريجات ، مؤكدة أن مستقبل تعليم اللغة يتجه نحو دمج التكنولوجيا والتعلّم الذكي، وأن التطوير المستمر هو مفتاح النجاح والتميز المهني.

The Alumni Unit at the College of Languages and Translation in Quraiger organized a workshop entitled:
"Smart EFL Teaching: A Workshop on Pedagogy and AI, Beyond the Textbook,
presented by Dr. Amal Abdulsattar Metwally, Assistant Professor at the College of Languages and Translation, King Khalid University, on Tuesday, 18/11/2025.

The workshop lasted for two hours and witnessed significant attendance and active participation from the attendees.
The workshop covered several advanced topics in English language teaching, most notably:

• The concept of Smart Teaching and how to integrate it into teaching English as a foreign language.
• The role of artificial intelligence in developing teaching skills and providing personalized learning experiences for students.
• Employing digital technologies inside and beyond the classroom to go beyond the limits of the traditional textbook.
• Effective pedagogical strategies to enhance teacher efficiency and increase learner motivation.
• How to design innovative learning activities based on interaction, analysis, and self-learning.
• Practical examples and applied models for using AI tools inside and outside the classroom.

At the end of the workshop, Dr. Amal offered several motivational recommendations to the graduates, emphasizing that the future of language teaching is moving toward integrating technology and smart learning, and that continuous development is the key to professional success and excellence.
