In an effort to equip students with vital competencies for the modern world, the College of Languages and Translation Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized a workshop titled "English as the Key to Unlock Powerful Soft Skills" as part of the "Language Secrets" program.

Held on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the college theater, the workshop was led by Dr. Aisha Saqir Khan, Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics at the College of Languages and Translation. Dr. Khan emphasized the significance of creative thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability—skills increasingly crucial in today's dynamic environment.

A large number of female students attended the event, which provided an interactive platform for participants to explore methods and mechanisms that aid in acquiring soft skills through the English language. The program also featured students sharing their personal experiences on how they developed these competencies, highlighting the role of university volunteering in enhancing soft skills.

The workshop underscored the importance of integrating soft skills development into language learning, demonstrating how proficiency in English can serve as a conduit for broader personal and professional growth.
