Under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah Al-Melhi, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, the English Club organized a Football Championship at Al Rabwah field, located behind Asir Central Hospital. The event witnessed a lively atmosphere with the participation of hundreds of students and several faculty members, including Dr. Yahya Asiri.

The English Club's Football Championship was a grand event, complete with a stadium sound system, lights, and an announcer. The championship received sponsorship from Mr. Abdullah Gazi, Director of the Alkefah team in Rijal Alma, for which the club expresses sincere appreciation.

Mr. Raed Al-Qahtani, Manager of all KKU student clubs, and Mr. Yasser Al Salimi, Director of Student Organizations, praised the event, stating that it aligned with the university's vision and goals for student club activities. Dr. Abdullah Al-Melhi, in agreement with their sentiments, emphasized the immeasurable importance of such events and commended all participants and supporters for their competitive spirit and dedication.

The championship concluded with a thrilling finale, where FC Al Maliki emerged as the winners by a 2-1 victory over FC Al Olympi after a dramatic penalty shootout.
